They called saying they could reduce my debt repayments by 50%. I just need to sign on the link sms"ed to me. I asked what i was signing and was told it was just so they could go ahead and speak to my debtors and see what best deal they could work out for me. A few days later my bank account had been blocked and could not draw money or even use my internet banking. I called the manager at Anlgo Debt who said he is sorry they should have told me to draw out all my money. I asked why and he said i should read my contract. I told him i dont have any contract but he said yes i do and would have it emailed to me. Later i received a contract with my signature at the bottom of every page copied from the sms link sent to me. The contract also has all the charges i am liable for and monthly repayments but doesnt say how long these payments are for. I told them that they are conducting business in a fraudulent way and i would like them to cancel this contract immediately. I was told that the process had already been started so there would be a R4000 cancellation fee. I told them there is no way i would pay a cancellation fee. After much arguing they said that is fine but did not stop the process as my bank still says i am under debt review and Anglo Debt no longer answer my emails requesting they sort this out.
We paid for a second hand car from KZN Motors which we were told had just been serviced and everything was in good working order. Drove it 117km and 2 days later and it broke down because of a snapped cam belt. KZN Motors refuse to repair or have the vehicle returned to them for a refund. It has taken 5 months for the outcome with Miosa who ruled in our favour. KZN Motors say they dont accept Miosa outcome so now has to go to court which could take another 5 months:(
