I am extremely disappointed with service I received from Charmaine Simons with regards to viewing a property for sale through Cape Property Centre After finalizing a date to see the property my husband arrives to be told, by the owner that the property is off the market. The add on Gumtree was posted on the 9th of September 2017. With no response i called Monday to arrange a viewing in which we got told we needed notice for the owners so we arranged for Tuesday morning, in which I proponed as I got called in for work. I rearranged for later on Tuesday to be told rather to move to Friday at 3pm as 5pm Tuesday was too late. My husband had phoned on Thursday the 14th to confirm the arrangements and he was all set to view property on Friday at 3pm as arranged. My husband then arrived at the property to be told by the owner that the property was pulled off the market 3 months ago, yet the estate agent keeps sending people over. Once there the owner phoned Charmaine to query why people are still wanting to view the property in which she replied that she had informed us that it was off the market and then proceeds to send the owner "proof" of said conversations between herself and us by forging messages via WhatsApp "informing us that the property was off the market" and that "we replied" in which was not case. For us the situation may be over but the for sale ad is still up and running on both Cape Property Centres Page as well as Gumtree REF #2898 so the owners struggles continue. As first time buyers we are very disappointed in this situation and do not recommended using Cape Property Centre.
