Booked in the week f9r Christmas Eve lunch. As they not open the evening. Only to find out when cancelling they can't find my reservation. Imagine my disappointment as i would have arrived to no table or meal. What Christmas cheer
To start with stood at gate to board only to find out they had changed it, a passenger who was flying to Cape Town was standing in the queue and inquiredo where we were flying. Just as well he asked so th whole row of people took off to another gate the other side of Durban airport. Waited for over an hour no explanation or apology. Eventually cptainand crew arrived walked through the crowd no acknowledgment or apology 4keeping us waiting. The host and hostess was in a conversation didn't greet passages. Take our seats that have been allocated for what reason. When a student from the tour group moves to another seat so she can be with her male friend. I was told you are not allowed to change seats for safety reasons. Is this true??? If so your stewards need a refreshment on that one!! I have never flown on such a noisy, rude flight before. We all paid our fare so why are the rules changed because of a student tour group. The landing was horrific I hit my head against the window. Will I fly mango, that is the question????
