Mr Video Secunda sells movie contracts R250 for 10 movies (as advertised in store) This is the second contract where I realize that they are short changing me. On inquiry the cashier tells me that the movies are still charged at R28 per movie (as appose to the R25 that they advertise). There is no manager in store and is not available per phone. The cashier tells me that she is just following procedure and can't rectify the problem. Ahe said that I must come back on a Monday as this is the only day that the manager is in store. This is fraudulent and unacceptable business practice! I took a pictute of the instore add, but can't seem to attach it on my mobile.
Builders warehouse Secunda.... Their bad service is surpassed only by their incompetance.... Mislabbeling prices etc.
I have been with Budget insurance for +-3 months. Unfortunately my deduction for the premium did not go through the 3rd, I did organize for payment to go through at a later date but at that stage my account didn't reflect any funds. I got in an accident the 17th. The people from the body shop (that wanted to tow the vehicle) told me that as long as he can pick up my details on the Budget app, my cover is still active. Only after he scanned my license disc and all my details came up (active cover) did I allow him to tow my vehicle. I did explain to him about the payments and he said to make sure that there is money in my account and to try and ask the bank to resend the payment. I did do so early the next morning (as I had a important deadline at work the day of the accident) Capitec told me that I can not resend payment and will have to wait for them to make the deduction. I was also told initially that my excess would be R5500 in the event of a serious claim. When the Budget consultant phoned me he informed me that my excess amount will be R8050 because it is my first year with them. This was on the 17th Today (the 20th) I get called by another Budget insurance consultant and she starts telling me how my car is repairable, but due to the fact that my payment is late they will not cover any cost for my vehicle. I told her that I did try to make payment at the bank, but that I couldn't, and asked that they deduct the money from my account. She told me that that is not possible as it is not in their policy to make any further deductions and that they will not accept any payment from me for this month's premium. That I need to fix the vehicle on my own cost and the take it to their agent to inspect before they will cover me again. I spoke to the guy from the panel beaters (the one that helped me at the accident scene). He told me that it is an utter lie, if it picks up my account details they have to cover the claim as my account was still active at that point! He told me that he has had issues with Budget regarding payment of legitimate claims before and encouraged me to address it on this platform.
