Injury on duty without compensation
The Beauty Room has branches in Kempton park and Ivory Park. They I’ll treat employees and we kept asking for contracts and they promised to make us sign contracts after probation which never happened. We were paid way below minimum wage R2200 per month working 9am to 5/6pm. I got injured on duty while on duty when there was no electricity but was never compensated and I had to borrow money to take myself for treatment and my knee is still in bad shape and I am no longer able to stand long hours . We were all threatened with non payment if we resign without serving notice which is also legal but then I was unfairly dismissed instead of being asked to a least serve a month . The reason being they can’t afford to pay me. They hire mostly foreigners and exploit them. Their business number is 0747582911

Mistreatment of employees
I worked for Club street kennels in Linksifield for a few months, they employ foreigners without permits and promise to sort the permits for them but they dont. Wen i resigned i was given a quater of my salary instead of my full salary with no explanation at all. You can have your contract changed three times in a month for no reason. They dont employ South Africans, there are only two South Africans out of 20 employees, the rest are Malawians without passports, they hire and fire all the time, people even get fired for talking back to the boss lady. They even forge passports for employees. Im not going to talk about the treatment of dogs by two of the handlers, ill leave it here for now.
