Even though my experience with FNB as a bank has been good, I have the following problem. The moment my bond was approved, my telephone rings non stop with offers for house insurance. I never gave FNB permission to share my information which has obviously been done widely. According to POPI this is illegal. Can FNB explain why my information is leaked?
I keep on getting bombarded with advertising e-mails. I have unsubscribed several times and I have also sent an e-mail to this effect with no results. According to POPI this is illegal.
To: Eco Depot (who has not contacted me with confirmation yet) Please refer to our previous communication. The situation is not acceptable. You advertised a product at a certain price. I ordered and paid and it is months later without your company honouring the agreement. The last communication was that I will receive the order mid March. I was advised two weeks ago that the order will now arrive mid April. I do not accept this. I have given your company more than ample time to perform. I expect you to buy the product from wherever you can get it and send it to me. Please confirm courier details or get a senior manager to contact me.
The owner of Sterling Renault Herm****' idea of customer service is to talk over you and refusing to listen to his customer. He made an incorrect assumption during a telephone conversation and instead of focussing on the problem, narcissistically insisted that he can not help me if he does not have all the information. Yet, he would not let me speak. I asked him 3 times to listen to me, which he refused to do, telling me to stop shouting.... (Yet, he was the one doing most of the talking). Eventually I requested a couple of times (over his voice) to phone me back when he is prepared to listen to me and ended the call. It has been 24 hours and I've had no call back. This has been my experience with Sterling Renault Herm**** since I bought the car. They are experts in horsing around and not solving the problem. If you do business with them, be prepared to be majorly frustrated.
During Lockdown on 16 July 2020, I renewed my vehicle license via the Wesbank webpage and paid for courier delivery which they stated will occur within 14 working days. Even after numerous enquiries, I have not received my renewal license. Wesbank referred me to Driva and they referred me to "thefnbnav@carlicence.zendesk". from which I also had no response (except the e-mais to acknowledge my e-mails...) On the Wesbank webpage I did not order and pay this license through a third party. It was not stated that it was a transaction between me and another party, but Wesbank. I've tried to call the 0861 number. Even after 5 minutes, you can not speak to any person. I've left requests for a call back. Nothing. This is unacceptable. Is there a money grabbing involved?
