Shocking service, admin chaos, non-reply to emails. Tried to charge me for their service plus the cost of the visa despite no visa being issued. Their poor service resulted in my having to cancel my planned trip to Congo-Brazzavile. When I requested the return of my passport, they refused, on the basis that I would not pay for the non-issued visa! During my attempts to get my passport back from VisRequest, a staff member twice put the phone down on me.

I bank with Investec but have to work via FNB for my business Paypal account. Trying to re-fica the FNB Paypal account has been a nightmare. It's taken over 3 months and we are still not done. Endless circles of the same documents submitted again and again, same queries (all replied to). The call centre is a mess and you have to start from scratch with each person - and submit the same docs and info again and again. I also get weird sms' from FNB with smiley face but saying they will shut the account for fica reasons. I eventually received an email a few weeks ago saying the fica process was complete. But since then have received several sms' and emails with same questions and same document requests. I am now dealing with a lady by the name of Pinky, who has apologised and assured me that the account is all good - but the sms' and emails keep coming. Complete chaos. Where does this end?
