TOTAL RIP OFF
We were on holiday and returned to no electricity. After ascertaining that there was a problem with the DV board, I called Day Night Electrical who sent out an electrician to sort out the problem. It was found to be a faulty earth leakage switch. I was out when the electrician attended to the problem and arrived home to find a bill of R6359 to replace an earth leakage switch. Having been over-tired from a long trip and an extremely pushy electrician, I signed off the invoice before checking it properly. I was then told that if I don't settle the bill immediately, I would be "HOUNDED" for the money. After he left he again messaged me 20 minutes after he left asking where the proof of payment was. Then 20 minutes after that I get a phone call from him demanding the proof of payment. Thinking that I could sort out this invoice with the management of Day Night Electrical the next day, I paid the invoice to get him off my back. Needless to say the management of Day Night Electrical is absolutely useless and after a few emails saying that their "management was reviewing the invoice" my follow-ups all fell on deaf ears. This is a crowd that will rip you off given the opportunity. Needless to say I will NEVER be using them again. They also won't bother to return if the original job hasn't been correctly done. This has been my poor experience

PAVING FALLING APART
We had a pool installed in January 2017 and were happy with the initial installation. As months progressed we started discovering that the paving was starting to flake and come apart around the fibreglass shell. It has now gotten to a point where it really looks terrible in less than a year of installation. I fear that it will totally disintegrate soon. Furthemore, the paving had also started pulling away from the pool, leaving a nice big gap between paving and pool. I have been trying my best to get the owner Jaap Diederiks back to fix the rushed installation. Initially he promised to come and have a look in November, then said he was too busy, and the excuses mounted. He is now ignoring all my attempts of contact and has been for over a month. His phone rings, but he doesn't answer. He reads my whatsapp messages, but doesn't reply. Don't trust this guy, he is a dodger!!!
