the ‘Cell.com phone & laptop’ repairs shop in sunninghill chillilane is absolutely useless & extremely rude especially to females. i took my smart watch there now, the only problem was the strap connection to the watch broke, it was a quick 5 mins max job, a simple gluing job, but the guy at the counter told me to go to pick n pay & buy super glue & do it myself !!! as they don’t have glue so they can’t help me!!! yet the shop door & glasses is covered with writings that they can fix anything & everything!!! needless to say i will never step foot inside there again!!
I purchased a NEW Opel Astra 1.6 manual from Williams Hunt Midrand on 30 Jan 2017. From Nov to Dec 2017 the car has completely died on me 3 times. I couldn't start the car, nor even open the door. It had to be jump started and towed. The 3rd time it died on me was 18 Dec. I had to call AA again to Tow it. Its not even 1 year yet & the kilometre hasn't even reached 7800km yet. Every time it broke down AA took it to Williams Hunt Midrand service center. - The 1st time the car died completely on 6 November they replaced the battery, - the 2nd time the car died completely on 10 December they reprogrammed all the programming. - 18 December it completely died again, & the car was towed again to the service station.. Right now my car is at Williams Hunt Midrand the past 42 days !!! They technician are trying their best and they still cannot find the fault after doing numerous tests. Since they cannot find the fault they cannot fix anything. I logged a official call with GMSA on 18 December, they have ignored me to date. A useless agent was assigned to me, who never answer any of my calls, and she will send me 1 generic email everytime I made a big noise. Gmsa / Opel SA is refusing to give me replacement car, i tried my best, they refused. Without fixing anything, Opel SA gave instructions to Williams Hunt to tell me to come fetch the car. So i requested for atleast a letter from GMSA & Opel SA saying if i fetch the car back again and it dies again the 4th time they will replace my car, but i have been waiting for this letter past 4 weeks !!! To add injury to insult, today 30 Jan 2018 at 5pm GMSA / Isuzu send me a letter saying they will extend the warrantee, the letter says nothing about replacing the car if it dies again, they want me to keep “giving the dealership a chance to fix it” . So do they want me to drive the car and it dies on me 2000 times until I run out of warrantee ? The letter stated NOTHING about a replacement if the car dies on me again. The original price of the car is R 403 000. I am so angry & disgusted, for a 9 month old brand new car to have these problems is unacceptable. I have driven 4 other brands of car previously, but fell in love with Opel Astra hence i bought it, but i am EXTREMELY disappointed, never again will i buy it or advise my friends to do so. I have no idea why it was car of the year for 2 years. None of my previous 4 cars had ANY issues of any sort for the many years i had them. I am so exhausted, angry, tired, and stressed, i am paying a premium every month to the bank for the car + another premium for the insurance, for a car i am not even driving. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER BUY A OPEL AGAIN IN MY LIFE , it’s the biggest mistake I have made. If my family, friends and colleague ever even think about buying an Opel, I WILL STOP THEM.
