Lost baggage nightmare
On 23 December 2017 our luggage did not arrive on our connecting flight to Milan from Frankfurt. Upon further enquires and much stress we were informed that our luggage was never loaded onto Lufthansa aircraft flying to Milan, we completed all necessary documentation provided to us in order to report the missing/delayed luggage. Our next flight to Krakow (Poland) was with EasyJet (flight EZY2593) 4 hours after landing in Milan. By then we still did not have our bags and were told that they will be sent to Krakow the next day. On our first day in Krakow, we tried desperately to follow up on our bags and had to buy clothes and essential items. All our warm clothes were in our missing bags and we were completely unprepared for 2 days in minus temperature conditions. We finally got the bags at 17:00 in Krakow after waiting for them at the airport for 3 hours. We drove to Zakopane immediately but missed out on our planned events. I have written 5 emails to Lufthansa and have called their complaints department. They dont call back or answer any emails. Their attitude is absolutely disgusting. Its so frustrating to deal with anyone there. Thanks Lufthansa for making this the worst Christmas I have ever had!
