I found the Screan service while looking for some way to get a car looked at that was in another part of the country. The experience was excellent, so I immediately booked several other checks on other vehicles that I was interested in. Using this service, worked out far cheaper than going myself each time to check each car, which enabled me to check more cars in a short space of time. I had an issue with some of the results, but this was handled very professionally and very quickly. The Screan team are professional, quick and efficient. The service is super simple to use and I'd recommend buyers to make use of it, and even sellers to have their own vehicles checked to identify any issues that they may not have been aware of. I have subsequently purchased a vehicle that they checked for me.
Ebay Customer Support is useless. A simple thing like resetting a password, can't be dealt with, you get an online support agent who cuts the chat as soon as possible after providing incorrect links, incorrect phone number or support info. Not just once, but all of them, over a period of a week, they have all done the exact same. I suspect they're using a 3rd party call center and the agents are paid by number of calls handled, not by number of resolutions. There's no support from customer service email either. All numbers provided are not valid. Sorry to say, but Ebay has fallen apart and they just don't care. I can't login anymore, i can't get help, so i'll spend my money elsewhere and ebay loses their portion of that money. It's no problem for me, but they must be losing customers by the dozen. I have tried every avenue i can find to contact someone that can assist with my issue, and not once did anyone give the slightest bit of interest to the problem. Pass the buck, close the communication as fast as possible is the attitude. I stand here with my middle finger in the air to you ebay! you've just become the worst shopping platform out there. I've ordered from Merrypak.co.za a few times and their service has always been excellent. I love the little surprises they send with the packages. My recent order over the New Year period arrived super fast and communication from them was on point every step of the way, even though I expected delays due to company closures etc. I had a problem with the item supplied this last time, but they have out performed other suppliers and are rectifying the problem super quick. I can recommend them quite happily. They have great products, great prices and exemplary service.
I've had to try reinstall my Absa Banking App due to a phone replacement. In theory this is easy.... I've installed the app, and then tried to log in but it uses this facial recognition that doesn't work (times out). There's no way around it so have tried to phone their call center. This is where the problem comes in... The call center don't answer calls. Without my app i can't do ANY banking, not even online as your phone is forced as the authorisation device. 2 DAYS later and I still can't get through to the call center. I have bills to pay. Keep trying the call center and starting feel like i'm not an important customer. They won't even speak to me. Can't go to a branch because they tell you to call the call center. Big fail on Absa's part. Maybe time to change to another bank whose apps work and who answers customer calls.
From day 1 I have been receiving spam email sand sms continually, despite me having asked them through every means of contact, as well as visiting them in person, to stop contacting me. My usage is far below my allocated data and yet I keep getting sms and emails to buy data bundles. Their systems are inferior for tracking customer requests, they don't respond to emails, and they just don't care about their customers. My internet is slow and unreliable some days, fast on others but generally it's just plain unpredictable. This I can live with, what I can't live with is the constant harassment. I value my privacy and have made so many requests to them, but they really couldn't be bothered to give a damn. I'm now resorting to publishing my frustrations on the internet and will most likely end up laying a charge at the police of harassment and cancelling my services with them. Worst ISP I have ever delt with (I have been in IT for 20 years and have delt with hundreds of ISPs). I am totally DISGUSTED with their behaviour and lack of interest.
