Parking chaos at Beau Constantia
The chefs warehouse is terrific but the parking situation is an utter disaster . Cars parked blocking road access ,Uber drivers waiting to pick up lifts and driving the wrong way . Spoilt the whole experience!

ESKOM GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER
The Eskom substation at Platorand ,district Dullstroom continuously goes down every time it rains . In the last 3 weeks it was down on November 15,16 ,24,25,26,27,30,and December 1,4 ,off again 6 ,7 and 8 We are trying to run a hotel and provide guests with a decent service .This is impossible in the circumstances of dire service delivery failure

Shingles Vaccines
Why has SAHPRA not licensed the importation of anti Shingles vaccines into SA ? The only vaccines currently available are only stocked by Travel Clinics at exorbitant prices which medical aids will not pay for . This omission is jeopardising the health of older individuals

Don’t rely on Eskom
Eskom should not be in the business of trying to service private households Our housekeeper has been without power for over 10 days and it is a devil of a task to reach any live person to get action . When you finally do they make promises which never materialise I have personally tried to escalate the problem but get Zero Zero response Too too terrible that a senior citizen can be treated with utter disdain.

The extra mile pharmacists
The pharmacy team at Clicks in the Emporium are superb .They are very professional but also show kindness ,politeness and patience in their dealings with customers .They always go the extra mile . Well done to them all they are a credit to their Company and their profession

Standards slipping
The Fish Hoek Licensing Centre has in the past been excellent but standards have slipped . They no longer offer senior citizen preferences . There is zero control on people entering the waiting areas for eye tests and the cashiers .As a result friends ,relatives etc enter and take up seating accommodation and create confusion in the queuing priority .A simple system of handing out a token at the check in counter would enable the security to control entry into the waiting room area . The staff remain friendly polite and efficient when you finally get to them . Two hours is a ridiculous time to have wasted in this process . Socks need pulling up

Landslide !
There is a landslide above the Klein Constantia Vineyard .It is quite plainly evident and is a risk both in terms of pollution and the possibility of the slide compounding and becoming very serious .It seems the problem is caused by a SANParks blocked pipe .Cape Nature seem powerless to assist

Pothole nightmare
Hoedspruit Airport is a delightful little airport which provides access to one of the main entry points to the Kruger Park and adjacent game lodges .The staff are most obliging and service orientated. Unfortunately the access road to the airport is an utter disgrace ,potholed in profusion and downright dangerous . When hiring a car make sure you take the windscreen and tyre insurance and drive slowly and safely . The local authority responsible for the road should be prosecuted .
