After our Account was hacked on the 27 July 2018 at 4:06 am the amount of Money that was transferred out of our account in the amount of R 4958.00 on the 17th August 2018 we received a refund from Absa of R 958.00 to compensate to this fraud. "Having considered the statement of events and the evidence available to us, it appears that you have been a victim of crime. Absa want to express our deepest empathy wit your unfortunate experience. However, based on the above facts, we regret to inform you that Absa IS NOT LIABLE for the losses incurred and your claim has been declined." NOW MY QUESTION IS...... How come when you are a victim of a Fraud, Absa bank stands with their hands folded when refunding your monies that was taken from you. To accept a R 958.00 COMPENSATION REFUND on a amount of R 4958.00 that they took from you. After Absa Bank has freezed the intial account where the money was transferred to. How come we as Absa Bank Clients needs to take the knock regarding somebody else criminal activities. Absa Bank it is an absolute disgrace to treat your clients in this manner. If this is the way you want to do business with your fellow citizen then I have no further choice than to take it further with legal action.
