Car Service Repair Gone Bad
Namaqua Herstelwerke 20 De Kock St, Onverwacht, Strand, 7140 Need to inform the public to be careful when dealing with this company All i get from them is that they quoted me and that i rejected there quotes and they not charity The only quote i know was to install the clutch kit that's it Right now we are scared to use the car as i have been advised that the gear box could be damaged with all the oil leaking out Spoke to someone about my situation of the oil leak and clutch plate They said that it is common practice that MANAGEMENT should have provided advice on the state of all working parts of the transmission including leaks and seals and given an estimation of any part that may fail in the foreseeable future. This is while they were busy taking out the old clutch The reason is it’s a very expensive exercise to strip and remove the clutch. So it makes sense to replace parts at one time rather than having to pay for labour costs again But management just took the clutch kit from me and installed it without informing me of any part that should have been replaced such as the oil seals They then informed me the car was ready and that it needed gear box oil as there was none I PAID AND LEFT Sitting with a car i cant use

Namaqua Herstelwerke 20 De Kock St, Onverwacht, Strand, 7140 This is to Management i did not accept or reject any quote The only quote i accepted was for the replacement of the clutch kit but management forgot to inform me of the oil seal replacement I am not a charity i paid you for a job that you did not follow through The quote you gave to my wife is not related to the problem of the oil leak So why must i accept it My argument with management is related to the gearbox oil leak which you had overlooked and not related to any other matter on the car I need to know why as management you as head of the work shop did not notify me of the oil seal that had to be replaced as you were suppose to have done while the mechanics were busy taking out the gearbox to replace the clutch kit as you told me personally there was no gearbox oil So now i have to pay another mechanic which involves labour of R1500.00 plus R200.00 for the seal plus gearbox oil For the replacement of the oil seal

Namaqua Herstelwerke 20 De Kock St, Onverwacht, Strand, 7140 THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT THE CLUTCH PLATE IT IS NOT ABOUT HOW OLD THE CAR IS ITS ABOUT A BAD SERVICE ON MY CAR AND WON’T TAKE RESPONSIBLETY FOR THE GEARBOX OIL LEAK Took my car over 3 months ago because I put my trust in there GOOGLE Reviews I also spoke to management extensively about doing a good job as I had problems in the past with bad service After inspecting the car Management gave me a quote for labour to install a clutch kit which i accepted And was also not briefed on the overall condition of the car after giving the quotation Did not sign any job card and was not given any conditions of the warranty Only that management said there was a six month warranty on the service I supplied the clutch kit Management phoned that the car was ready I paid and he told me that the car had no gearbox oil I was surprised as i never noticed any oil leak in the past Took the car when i got home heard a rattle from the engine opened the bonnet All the air intake pipes were loose and not clipped into place The battery tray was bolted down with the wrong bolts the original bolts Were still lying on the bonnet next to the wipers I showed my daughter and was shocked As I had spoken to management about doing a good job Next day heard a noise took the car back went on the lift mechanic did something When asked what did he do he said nothing A few days later the car would not go into reverse or fifth gear Took the car back they put it on the lift i showed the mechanic where there was A bolt missing must have fallen out because was not tightened properly On top of that management wanted to charge me for replacing the bolt At the same time i noticed a bit of oil Also noticed that one of the front anti roll stabilizer bar links was broken how that happened don’t know but was not like that so I took it off After a month i noticed a lot of oil leaking from the gear box and the shudder in first gear took the car back 3rd time For the first time I had to sign a job card never happened in the past spoke to management and gave him a letter that if he could not sort out the Matter of the oil leak and shudder that he should refund me he sent me an email and gave my wife a ridiculous quote of plus minus R7000.00 to replace parts that could be linked to the shudder I told him I was not bill gates but a pensioner but had no relevance to the oil leak I emailed management if he could at least Sort out the gear box oil leak as I felt they overlooked the oil seal replacement I got no response from management IF there was no gearbox oil why did management not replace the faulty oil seal as that is a common problem and I would have paid for the seal I have learnt my lesson with this company don’t put your trust in there Google Reviews This is not how a client should be treated THEY TOOK MY MONEY BUT I AM STIL SITTING WITH A SERIOUS OIL LEAK

Namaqua Herstelwerke 20 De Kock St, Onverwacht, Strand, 7140 MY REVIEW ON THE COMPANY A- Very Unreliable And not the first time B- There is no Accountability on the Repairs C- What good is six months warranty if they are not willing to help you anymore D- After dealing with Namaqua Herstelwerke over a period of time I have absolutely no trust in there services anymore E- The reason why i went back was the trust that i put in there GOOGLE REVIEWS just to discover it did not work out for me again I now have to go to someone else to correct the problem that they OVERLOOKED and have to PAY AGAIN
