Company was very quick to respond when I was showing interest in their service. After I paid the money upfront for their service, the service was non-existent. I have sent them three emails, phoned and whatsupped the owner. They have still not given me any feedback on the progress of my UIF and COIDA application. Please do not pay the company any fees upfront. You will never hear from them again.
I had a ten year savings plan with Old Mutual. I recently requested that the money should be paid out. Old Mutual has been stalling for weeks on end. I went to their offices and they told me they only need a certified copy of my ID and bank statements which I supplied. Then every week I would get an sms: "We now need proof of residence" So I sent them my water and lights bill. The next week I get another sms: " We now need a marraige certificate" I scanned in my marraige certificate and sent it to them. Then I get an sms again stating that I sent them cover pages and not the actual documents which is a lie. I have the "send items" in my email. They have all my documents! Why did they not in the first place tell me they need these documents when I went to the Old Mutual offices? I will never recommend anyone to invest with Old Mutual. My next step is to take legal action. This is my money and Old Mutual is holding on to it. They were quick to take my money but are now stalling to pay out . Please think twice before giving Old Mutual your money.
