For more than two months I have been trying to resolve a service issue. Sometimes I have service and then I don’t. It can come and go very few minutes. The call centre will only help if you can do speed tests, ping tests, explain which lights on the CPE are ion or off. You need an Ethernet cable and can only link directly to the router. Sorry for you if you only have a computer that has a USB c port. The script does not cover the fact that when there is no service these things can’t be done and when you have a service you don’t need to test it. The call centre considers their customers to be 1st class idiots and don’t know when they don’t have a service. Theoretically a technician will come out - well my first complaint was mid September and no technician, no follow up service Call, no quality control. Who cares,the company has your money for the month. One continues to pay for this poor service in the hope it will change. Attempts to speak to someone more senior than a call centre manager are blocked . No one in authority is available to discuss an issue and requests for a service director to call you back is pointless, you can leave a message but no-one will call. I would suggest that what was once a young dynamic company is a behemoth no better than Eskom!! Find a Service company somewhere else because Cool Ideas is not cool and have no idea how bad they are.
This company places stickers on every gate motor in Johannesburg and the immediate surrounds so that when you have a problem you will call them. They are under s****ed and incapable of doing the job. The individuals that repair the gates are nice people but frankly are under qualified and incompetent to really diagnose and repair your gate without either damaging your equipment or creating additional problems resulting in a follow up visits. There is no responsibility or accountability for the lack of performance. The receptionist, Michaela, refuses to connect you to either the manager or owner of the business and you can wait days for a follow up. If you are considering using this company, hold that thought, and hire someone else!!! Do not consider this company as a potential contractor for your security, they will leave you stranded and at risk !!!
The theory is that now the Gautrain Company has decided to implement expiry dates you can claim any money that was available on the card prior to the expiry date. After registering on the site and providing personal and other information, including registering the now expired card where it shows a valid balance, the Gautrain has decided to decline the repayment because it stated the card has not been used for three years. Had i used the card on 30 December 2017, I could have used the remaining balance for any journeys, now that the card has expired the Gautrain Company will not refund what is rightly mine.
