I am only writing this low review because of their courier services that they make use of, Fast + Furious, this is not a review about their products. Receiving my box of goodies every season is a highlight, love their accessories. Always excited to see what the next season will bring. Would recommend their goodies ten ten, but rating one out of ten for their courier services. Receiving my box from the couriers that they make use of has been such a mission. I do understand that it is a very challenging time during this pandemic, and all of their staff need to run things from home. On 14 October 2020, I emailed them to confirm if they received my last payment for the season, because I decided that I want two boxes that was not placed together as one option (The Mode and the The Classic Boxes, both full collections, At the beginning of the season (14 August 2020) when the New Normal was launched, I was offered to upgrade to the 2 full boxes option VIF_02 (All Access) R738 p.m, and I decided to go for it) Benita Pienaar was the one that emailed me back and offered it. Danielle Robertson then emailed me to confirm with me that I have been upgraded to the VIF Deluxe Box, and that she will ensure that those two boxes will be in my Spring box once they received all three payments for the season. 14 October, So time comes when they received all three payments, and I'm just checking in to make sure that they received all three payments, because they usually send you and sms to hear what your box options are when they received all 3 payments, but I already chose what I wanted at the beginning, so they didn't need to ask again, so I was just checking in. 15 October 2020, Pamarin Meyer emailed me back and confirmed that they will be packing and delivering in the next few days 16 October I receive an sms on my alternative number (not my actual number that I have on me all the time, I have asked them previously to please change it to my 1st choice number to receive all the messages on there, but no luck in changing it) that states they have attempted a delivery unsuccessful. My alternative number then gave The Box a call and asked them to please try again. That same day the alternative number received yet another sms about the unsuccessful delivery. TWICE in one day. Both times there was no hooter at the gate and also no calls from no couriers I work from home for two years now, and there's always someone at home on weekdays, but I'm mostly working on location on Saturdays and some Sundays because I shoot weddings and portraits, that's the only time that I myself am not at home, and we receive packages quite often in weekdays, we haven't had any issues with any other courier, except for this company now. And I emailed The Box explaining the situation.. 19 October Danielle Robertson emailed me back and told me that she has escalated this with the courier company and asked that they deliver asap. This same day, my alternative number received once again another sms stating that the delivery was unsuccessful. So I emailed again to keep them in the loop of what was going on on my side. That day I have been receiving other packages from different courier companies with no hassle at all. All of them hoot and call at our gate, and I have not received any hoots or calls from this courier that they make use of, just receive unsuccessful delivery messages. In the email I asked if the courier perhaps have the correct details and address. On 20 October Pamarin Meyer emailed me back and confirmed that they have the correct details and reminded me that Danielle has escalated the matter for me, and that I should let them know when my parcel is delivered. (I was kind of hoping to already have the parcel by now due to it being my birthday on the 21st and showing off my new accessories). But nevertheless, the 21st came and the 21st went, still no parcel. So I just left it and let it run its course, because I felt like I'm being annoying with all the emails of keeping them in the loop. So on Saturday the 24th of October I received a call from the courier and its a parcel from The Box. FINALLY, a courier from Fast + Furious that knows how to operate a phone. I was so happy to hear that and was excited to see all the goodies when I get home the evening. I was working at a wedding that day so there was at least someone at home to sign for the package. So I got home that evening, and found the box, that was half the size of the boxes that I usually get and was 99 percent lighter than I expected. So I open the box and find a WHOOPS! apology card and a pair of beautiful earrings from a box that was not one of my choices. Which I accepted the apology, and emailed them on Tuesday the 27th (which was a week since I last heard from anyone from The Box) to thank them for the apology gift and to check in about the actual box that I am only interested in receiving. On the 28th of October Melany Mackay emailed me (She clearly doesn't know the situation) and stated that my box has already been delivered and signed for on Saturday the 24th October (Which was actually the apology gift that was delivered, and not my actual box that I was expecting). So I emailed back the same day with a very disappointed mindset with pictures of the box that I have received (the box that I have received from the courier looks like it was stepped on), and may have been a little too forward, but I was honestly very frustrated with this whole situation now of the back and forth emails and still don't have what I paid for. Today is a new month (two weeks since they last told me that they escalated things with the couriers) and they are almost ready to launch their new season (which I honestly cannot wait to see what they come up with) , and I'm still waiting for an update of any kind from their side. Fast + Furious has a 1.9 out of 10 rating on Hello Peter.. Why make use of such an untrustworthy company? They do not hoot or call to tell you that they are at your gate. For 3 attempts, and nothing more after that. Can someone please kindly assist me on the matter at hand? Kind regards My Membership number : ALUN280173
