Doesn't care about the individual or actual client investing, they only care about the employer paying over the contributions. I am still waiting for my withdrawal. I initially sent the forms on the 30th of October, it is still not paid or sorted. Sygnia which is the fund that Insurance zone has me with pays out in 15 working days. Rafael is not providing the details of the trustees of the fund as requested so I can follow steps in sending them a letter about the situation before proceeding to the pension fund adjudicator is necessary. Rafael is not assisting and only helping the employer buy time where I have a right to get my fund paid out. I have requested copies of supporting documents that would justify the delay as per section 37D however it is also not being sent. There is no legal grounds for any objection to submit my exit paperwork and delay paying out my provident fund because I resigned and worked out notice even after being told mt resignation is not accepted and that I will be marked absconded and my fund will be withheld(which is ********* and *******). They never once contacted me when I started with the fund. I was never advised the details of my fund benefits or supp**** a login to look at my profile. It is not a good idea to invest with them. Paperwork to fill out your details for when you need death benefits etc to pay out only gets sent MONTHS later after more than half a year of deductions... so you might be paying for something that won't benefit your family in the long run. Should you retire or resign and move they will hold up the process of payout. The Sygnia fund rules clearly state payout takes 15 working days... it has been 17 working days and my paperwork has not even been submitted to Sygnia and I am unable to lodge a complaint with the trustees due to not providing the details as requested on numerous occasions. Response times on communication also is very poor. If you use them through your employer don't expect them to care about your individual needs, as the main client who relies on the fund for retirement or other reasons at the end of the day they do not care about you as client.

I am still waiting for my withdrawal. I initially sent the forms on the 30th of October, it is still not paid or sorted. Sygnia which is the fund that Insurance zone has me with pays out in 25 working days. Rafael is not providing the details of the trustees of the fund as requested so I can follow steps in sending them a letter about the situation before proceeding to the pension fund adjudicator is necessary since the employer has threatened to mark me as absconded after they refused my resignation and notice. I feel Rafael is not assisting and only helping the employer buy time where I have a right to get my fund paid out. I have requested copies of supporting documents that would justify the delay as per section 37D however it is not being sent because there is no legal grounds for any objection to submit my exit paperwork and pay out my provident fund. They never contacted me when I started with the fund advising me of what my fund benefits etc is either so from start to now it is a place that doesn't care about each client and their individual needs as the client only about the company/employer so I would say it is not a great idea to invest through them because at the end of the day when you invest you would want your needs to be met when you need the fund without interference from the employer and no assistance in providing the trustee details should a person want to follow further steps. The Sygnia fund rules clearly state payout takes 15 working days... it has been 17 working days and my paperwork has not even been submitted and I am unable to lodge a complaint with the trustees due to not providing the details as requested on numerous occasions. Had quite a sensitive case regarding an unfair dismissal, however Johann stepped in when it was needed most to assist with the process. Managed to get the best possible outcome within the merits of the unfair dismissal. Love that they work towards helping the smaller guy in a work environment, just to show them that they can actually rely on someone when needed most.
Absolutely pathetic service from the Midrand branch!!! I have been waiting for my order for 2 and a half weeks yet everytime I phone in, the story changes as to what is exactly missing. I am starting to wonder if they even have any of the parts I have ordered?? I have tried contacting a manager and yet no one wants to pick up phones now that I have started to get irritated with the situation. I have paid on the 25th of January 2019 and still no confirmed date of delivery or anything. I am starting to consider asking for a complete refund if I do not receive my order soon
