My retrenchment story I'm retrenched end of June 2019. No warning, no roomers of retrenchments, nothing. I bought my Ford bakkie just 5 weeks earlier. What a bummer when I was called in and told you don't have a job anymore. Luckily they offered me a 15 month fixed term contract. The contract ended end of September 2020. Again they offered me a fixed term contract for a year but with only 30% of my normal pay My ABSA story part 1 I contacted the toll free number. One very rude lady answered the phone. I keep my cool and explained to her my situation and I need to talk to someone who can help me. She asked me if it was a covid case. No Mam I answered, I explained to you that I was retrenched before covid. Then we cant help you and we will repossess the vehicle if you don't pay. I thanked her for the kind service. Part 2 I visit the bank and after standing in a queue for about 2 hours I again explained my situation. She pointed at a telephone against the wall and told me to look up the number of the department I need to speak too Part 3 I looked up the number and called. A man answered and again I explained. He informed me that I must phone the restructuring department Part 4 Sweet and short. Phone restructuring number. No answer after several attempts Part 5 "Google" absa payment relief options. You can apply for up to a year relief. Fill the application. Got a "thank you" note and inform me it will take 14 days to respond. 2 Months later and still no reply Part 6 Phone the toll free number again and a helpful lady told me what to do. What forms to attached and the E-mail address. They will look into it and contact me within 3 days. Month later still no reply Part 7 I decided to give up and not to pay January's installment. 3 days later absa phoned and wants their money. I explained the previous 6 parts to her and she said she is sorry to hear but it is my fault they did not respond as my instructions could have been uncleared. She cant see the mail I send but she is sure they received it as the E-mail was confirmed with her I told her to just leave it and come and take the bakkie Part 8 Still no engagement from absa. I have 4 possible jobs lined up but the covid restrictions are against me at the moment as well as the tax year end February Now I will just sit and wait. Like absa do.
I bought a 2nd vehicle from auto mecca 2. The deal was done very fast and I received the vehicle. All seems to be in order When I got home and inspect the car the reverse light did not work and the vipers were totally worn The car pulling to the left badly How did they obtain a valid road worthy certificate. I did not even received one After registration I send invoices for the registration, plates, vipers to them to be refunded. Well its 2 weeks and still no money. Nicholas promised it was transferred Monday 22 July into my account. Well its a week later and still no money After sale service on my card is less than 0. It is only promises
