DADAS MOTORLAND CAR DEALERSHIP

Last week my daughter and I had narrowed our search for a car down to a few dealers - Dadas Motorland in Benoni being one. We subsequently bought a car from them. Our experience with them was literally out of this world. I have bought high end motorcars at dealerships in London, Miami and a number of dealerships in South Africa ( Particularly Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguar) and my experience with Dadas was in a different league altogether. From the first phone call (PS: The receptionist logs your name and from then on answers to you by name when you call in!) (thru an internet advert) - taken by Ismail , then upon my arrival at the dealership, I was well received by a young Massee who had been briefed by Ismail - I found the vehicle ready and prepared for inspection and test drive. The showroom was immaculate and breathtaking - just world class. Every vehicle was pristine and beautifully presented. They have quite a substantial team - all of them youngsters - everybody was attentive and nothing was too much trouble for anybody, the guys were well trained in their stuff and professional and all of them enthusiastic. Nobody had their hands tied as a result of shop policy here. Lovely to see a young team like that. Naturally the car we looked at was the best one we had seen ( we had shopped around all over the country )! I add - and in the nicest condition too. Negotiating with these youngsters was a pleasure and although my initial offer was not accepted I was dealt with respectfully and honourably and one of the directors, ****r Dada, came down to greet us and close the deal. Well that was just the start of it! Ismail and Jandre (from their finance division) hustled around and right there on a Saturday morning, half taking instructions for the credit application on the phone, the other half in person, arranged our finance through a few banks and all other associated requirements - on a Saturday morning near closing time!?? In-house!?? Who does this?? There was no rushing or pressure - these guys just exhibited tolerance, respect, decency, efficiency (such efficiency!) and all the good stuff - just proper commitment to providing a proper and great service. Dealerships worldwide should take a page out of these guys' book. We were back on Tuesday morning to take delivery of a vehicle which had already been roadworthied and properly prepared for us and was on display covered in a red cloth with a nice bow - such a nice experience for a girl buying her new car (thanks you guys!) - plus complimentary chocolates, umbrellas, caps etc making the delivery very special. The spare key was not readily available but Ismail went to the trouble of hand delivering it to our office a couple of days later. The purchase has left us feeling secure and happy about the whole car buying thing, something that is not as common as it should be these days. Thank you very much Ismail, Massee, Jandre and you guys, I can only see myself and my family buying our cars from you and only you going forward! Nathan
