Volta Electrical - Johannesburg South - Fraudulent & Unreliable

FRAUDULENT! I paid Volta Electrical for a quote, which they refused to give me.... I called Volta Electrical to quote for electrical installation at my house on 5th October 2018. The 'electrician/owner' Janie required R500.00 deposit in order for him to come to site (1 km from his home office) to give a quotation. On arrival at my house, he insisted on the R500.00 before committing to inspect the place. I paid him in cash, no receipt. He produced his letter of registration which seemed valid. He then proceeded with his inspection. focusing more on 'sharing the gospel' than focusing on the task at hand. He left my place, promising to send me quote over the weekend. Having not received the quotation, I called him during the evening of Monday 8th October 2018. He gave me every excuse why he had not quoted me yet, and no assurance of when I could expect the quote. I starting expressing my dissatisfaction when he ended the call. I called again, but he again cut the call.
