Poor stock management
I would not recommend purchasing online. Very little to no communication between in store stock and online stock. Ordered a generator 9th of December 2019 with online store indicating stock is available. Got a phone call the next morning informing me that there is no stock and I can expect stock to be available in January 2020. I agreed to wait. End of January came and I received no communication from Builders warehouse Rivonia. I phoned and was informed stock is expected in March. I ended up cancelling the order and requested a refund. I was informed that I had to go in store for a refund eventhough it was an online purchase. I ended up buying the exact same generator from a different supplier the same day. Staff was friendly and apologetic in store though. My recommendation as far as builders warehouse goes: cash and carry only.

Does not return deposits for rentals
Have been struggling 2 months to get deposit back for a returned rental (vale). Keep making promises but no action. No damages to vale
