I am still astonished at how in this day and age an insurance company takes 120 working days to settle a payment for a 3rd party claim. To make matters worse, for an incident that hapenned in October 2025, to even get the approval for payment took 60 working days and having received that approval - hang on wait another 60 working days before we pay out. Its nearly 5 months going waiting for a claim of less than R50k to be processed. I feel sorry for the amazing lady who was unfortunate to have bumped me in the back, to have to entrust a solution to an Insurance that has absolutely 0 consideration of time. How do i drive with a damaged car for 5 months cause an approved claim must wait another 60 workings days to be paid out. Dotsure you can do better.

On Monday the 12 of October 2018 got to the airport early morning for my 5.55am flight to CPT. On arrival at the counters for check in around 5.03 was met by a lady who stands just before the counters. She asked me of my destination and flight times which i gave her. She told me I was late for my flight already and check in had closed and i was supposed to go to Guest services. Got to Guest services counter and had to wait a cool 10 minutes before being attended to. On being attended to eventually the attendant belts out a 1.8k amount i had to pay to then fly on the next flight. Meanwhile my colleague who had boarded the flight was messaging me people are boarding the flight. I cannot help but actually assume Mango is deliberately closing us out inorder to profit out of our desperation. Convinient enough there is always an available seat on the next flight. With that having been said, if you are to Fly Mango ensure that you are 2hrs early otherwise they will mess you up for good. Never mind that i missed my meeting start time. MANGO IS A BIG NO NO FOR ME
