Today I went to the Istore in Eastgate Mall to upgrade two of my business phone contracts. I received my ticket number via sms at 09h55. At 10h03 I suddenly received an sms telling me I appear not to be ready, all this time waiting in the Istore. When I asked about the sms I was told there was a glitsch in the system and that was reentered in the system. Only this time I was no longer first on the list. . At 10h40 I once again inquired about the wait and was told that someone would help me in 10 minutes. At 11h05 I walked out of the store highly disgusted at the service and attitude of the staff. I was under the impression that Istore was going to provide a much better service than my current provider but it appears that I am better off just going back there to do my contracts. Istore staff need customer training as they are dismissive and non caring!
Our company booked a room yesterday afternoon and only realized this morning that the receptionist booked at the wrong Mountain View. There apparently is one in Blackheath and Harrismith. After phoning and explaining our honest mistake we were told that its not their problem and we cannot get a refund even though their website does not state a non return policy. I have never come across a more rude person than Hannah who I believe is the owner! Surely someone in the hospitality business should have better people s****s and understand the situation. Its not as if the room would have been booked between yesterday afternoon and this morning as the website clearly shows many rooms available.
