I decided to use their online service to do my black friday shopping. On day of collection i got there to find they had already closed. I returned 3 days later on my way from a client to check and the goods had been sent back with a promise to rearrange delivery. When i received no call i called on the 30th Nov and rearranged to collect the following Monday. When i got to Northgate Pick n pay there were no goods waiting for me. We then called to check what happened and Millie from warehousing told me someone was supposed to contact me on the 30th after my call to arrange delivery and she requested a delivery address which i gave her. The next day Tuesday she calls me and tells me there will be no delivery because they "could not find my order and payment did not go off my bank account" which is false because she confirmed my order the day before including correspondence around it as well as the fact i have proof the payment went off my bank account. I then called back on Wednesday to arrange for a refund, note the only person who claimed there was no payment made was Millie, to which the customer care agent confirmed she had escalated. On the 13th I called to confirm if the refund had been processed as nothing had reflected in my account and was told it had been processed that day. Until today, no refund has made it to my account. Its quite upsetting considering i am a pick n pay customer who does their monthly groceries there. If someone could please explain why it takes so long for a somple refund to be made and also if I could please get my refund, I would be most grateful.
