Global Freight Solutions Logistics is a scam

We bought a Dog in PE a person called Peterson Farms and he had send the dog with the crate for shipping to GFS Logistics. GFS Logistics then contacted us and informed us that the crate that was given to them was not in good condition and that we should hire a crate from them which was going to be R9 000.00 and refundable upon receiving the dog. They gave us a tracking number and all and the we are yet to receive the dog. Right now i dont know if the dog breeder is also involved in the scam or the Global Freight Solutions Logistics has duped both us and the breeder.
