Compass real estate Standerton doesn't want to give me my deposit back!

I moved in to one of the compass real estate agents flats in July 2018 and had so many problems in that complex, from my 12 years old daughter being called a kaffer by one of the tenants and a toxic smell from the toilet and shower drain that took over the flat. At this point I was 22 weeks pregnant, I reported the issue to them. I finally decided to move out because my work contract ended and I just couldn't stay there anymore. I gave November as my one month's notice but when I asked them in December they refused to give me my deposit back. I left the place in good clean condition, but they said since they have not found a tenant they can't give me the money back. Only to find out that a lady moved in in December and they just don't want to give me my money! I have never been so poorly treated in my life.
