Wow! what a nightmare! This people does not come close to what they perceive on their website: http://bnlaw.co.za/ I am a first-time homeowner and I've been going through a living hell since April of 2022. I understand that the Late Estate process takes a while but these people have no sense of communication. They let months and months go by and wait until I contact them to do anything about the matter. Mellisa Jardine (melissa@bnlaw.co.za), has now gone on leave and has not even given me a call or email to let me know what the next steps are. It's DECEMBER! And I do not have a place to stay - pending when I eventually move into my home. When you call their offices, a white lady picks up. She sounds nice, then when I say who I am, just drops the phone. What is happening at that offices? This seems like a racial issue and they probably helping everyone else, except a woman of colour. I will be laying a complaint every week! Because they have made this experience HELL for me.
I am appalled by the level of service we have received at this place and recommend that no-one goes to this place. My best friend and I arrived on Friday 29th March. The place lacked essentials things like a mop and broom and bowls for salad etc - This is meant to be a self catering guest house. We met fellow neighbors, who have been staying there for 2 weeks, they explained that they were treated like dogs because they are black...Their breakfast was served to them in plastic bags (this was meant to be part of their stay, bed and breakfast). The one gentleman explained that the owner called him a Caffer. The gentleman warned us about the owner as they may seem nice but they are very racist. When we left the Sunday morning, we were advised to leave at 10:30 AM. The owner had his cleaners come in while we were still packing, at 10:10. I was still in the shower at the time and we were told we had to leave now because someone was checking in. At this time, the neighbors were still there as they only check out the Tuesday. I exchanged numbers with one of them and they told me that at no point did anyone check in after we were practically thrown out. I find this extremely disappointing because the location of the place is beautiful, close to the beach and even a local pub (which we were not advised on, even upon asking what food places are nearby) the pub is also predominantly white and we even had issues there as well. I would never recommend anyone, even my worst enemy to go to that racist place. If we knew this is what we were getting ourselves into, we would NEVER have gone there...
I am extremely exhausted having to constantly contact this department. I received my equipment in October of 2018. From the equipment, I was meant to receive 5 Jolly Tables for kiddies parties. I only received 4 and the 4 out of 5 tables was badly damaged. I called Time Freight as instructed and was advised that I would receive a form to fill in. I never received this form after numerous contact with this company. I was told that their calls are recorded, yet was advised recently that they do not review calls after a certain time. This was necessary to prove that I did indeed call them initially to claim a refund or new tables. I dealt with a woman called Cayla, who was the initial problem as months went by and there was zero contact from them. I cannot file a claim without them sending the claims form. I then escalated the matter and spoke with a woman called Bonita and she said that she would take everything over and sort this out for me. She sent me the claims form on the same day I escalated but this was 24th December. Keeping in mind that it is festive, I gave it some time. It has been an entire month and I heard nothing back from the department. I called today 22 January 2019 and spoke again with Bonita who advised that the matter will be escalated. I have no faith that I will hear back to be honest. I was forced to purchase new tables in the interim as I refused to use the Tables for any kiddies parties knowing that these Tables are hazardous. Very Very Very unhappy and I have never received such bad service. Representative that worked on the case initially: Cayla Dyers ********** Current Representative: Bonita Hanekom ********** I will never recommend this company to anyone who wishes to ship or deliver goods... I have the entire email thread from the very beginning (end September) as proof, showing images, invoices etc. I would like my money back for the tables I have purchased and be compensated for this bad service.
