I took my Volvo to Imtech for an oil problem which they assured me they can fix. I had to return my vehicle to them 6 times as the engine was just sounding worse each time, the oil problem was not fixed, the car did not idle, just shuddered, engine very noisy, overheating, etc. etc. This whole exercise cost me R 30 000.00. I then took the car to Volvo who has informed me that it will now cost me R 90 000 to repair. I was not only treated with great disrespect but was also threatened by the technician, Iqbal, who informed me that he will not return the vehicle to me unless I made payment, in their office, whilst they were still working on it. As I couldn't afford to have the vehicle repaired properly, I had no choice but to sell it on auction and have received very little money for it.
