My wife and I were renting a flat in walvis bay from Grobbies estate, due to the covid 19 situation we had to make a financial choice to move back to Cape Town from walvis bay. We have been waiting 2 weeks for our deposit to be sent back to us, we can’t move into a new place unless we have that deposit. The Lady who has been assisting us does not answer her phone or get back to us on what’s happening, if we do get hold of her she says we will get the money the next day but nothing happens. This is unacceptable, we have never missed a payment and we have always been on time with our payments. If we didn’t pay it would be a big problem yet look at this situation now.
I have been having problems with FNB always deducting money from my bank account without notification via sms or email, I have to physically go into my account every time to see what is happening. Due to the lockdown on 26 March 2020 in South Africa my father in law could not get to the bank to send me money on 27 March 2020 which I left to him. Because of the lockdown and unplanned circumstances in South Africa and Namibia the payment only come in on the 30th and now FNB Namibia walvis bay has taken N$ 270 from my account because of an international crisis which I not anyone in this world could control. I will be cancelling my bank account with FNB once this lockdown is over and I’m changing to a better bank where people do their jobs correctly
Budget insurance is the worst insurance that I have ever gotten for my car, very unprofessional and unreliable..... I do not recommend people to use them, there is always an issue when requesting something or even trying to get into contact with them, but once you get in contact with someone they take more than a week to get back to you.
