Active since Mar 2019
Order placed beginning December 2018 and was encouraged by the Salesman to pay in full as the price will then be locked to their 2018 pricelist (else I would be invoiced for the 2019 pricelist value). The initial plan provided by the Salesman contained incorrect measurements, which was eventually corrected in January 2019 before installation commenced (the excuse was that an “old” plan was used). I am not sure if the installer has any qualifications, as the workmanship leaves much to be desired - inside of drawers and doors (where handle retaining ***** holes were drilled) is severely chipped (not to mention in one location even the shelve were damaged). Not proper provision was made to accommodate the basin during the manufacturing of the base unit. The installer decided the best way to make the basin fit is to hack pieces out. When I expressed my concerns, regarding the poor installation to the Salesman, the response was that the factory will do a final inspection (something that never occurred). With the installation of the granite tops, one of the tops were badly scratched (result of a rush installation – installer arrived at 1:00pm and left at 3:00pm). This became another debate, as I wanted the top replaced. At first they elected to polish the scratch, which resulted in a bad dent in the granite top and then I was offered a discount if I accepted the defect. The top was finally replaced when I refused to compromise. My dilemma is thus this, I have settled the invoice in full and have thus no recourse for the mess I am left with, as the damaged panels and doors were merely filled with wood filler that is now revealing cracks.
