I had ***** committed on my mobile banking app on 2 September. I was notified of the transactions via sms and immediately contacted ABSA ***** advising them not to allow the transactions to go but they failed to do so. They refused to refund me the R20655 and I insisted as i had also had troubles with my cell phone screen going black and had to have a VDI portal plugged into the phone before these theft transactions occured. The matter was referred to the repudiation committee and IT department which further declined to refund me the funds that were ****** from my mobile app. I have since consulted with experts who look into phone hacking at Samsung. They have advised me that the cell phone is an open source with an open operating systems and it is very possible that my cell phone can be hacked remotely. From your cell phone IP addresses can be traced and identified. They can scan your wifi to see what devices and apps are connected. The Samsung agent who understands hacking of mobiles advised that key loggers or ****mers can use your IP address to use a port scanner to open up apps on your device and can install their spyware remotely to authorise transactions on a mobile banking app. No banking app is impenetrable. AFter the investigation, Bronwyn contacted me to say that a VDI port is only used on a desktop which is not the case at all. A VDI can be used on a mobile to connect you to your desktop. She also advised that ABSA's mobile banking app cannot be hacked. A very arrogant supposition and not true at all for any banking app. I think it is deeply disappointing to know that when you are an innocent victim in all of this that ABSA refuse a refund. Absolutely shocking. I did not and I repeat, not authorise any transactions whatsoever and produced an affidavit. The Head of ABSA ***** Ally Mafunzwaini asked Bronwyn Bell Head of ***** Customer Excellence to further investigate. ABSA failed to stop these and I now have no life cover (which I have paid into for 15 years )and medical aid as a cancer patient. I am absolutely horrified that ABSA would repudiate a refund to a 64 year old pensioner.

George, from Perfect Auto Electricians accepted my Polo vivo 1.4 litre to try and get it to start. Was supposed to have replaced the ECU box but only repaired it and bought a fuel pump. Paid R4500 for repairs and my son collected the car only to drive it home where it would not start yet again. The fuel pump blew so bought a brand new fuel pump form VW Fourways at a cost of R3800 and they still could not get it right. They dont know what they are doing. Stay away from these people. I asked for a refund as they had not fixed the problem but obviously nothing was compensated.
I was sold a 2005 Polo vivo by Ntando Dlamini 061 776 9814 on behalf of Rowan who sells cars on olx going by the name of Rowsmobiles 081 360 1118 on 20th December 2019. The car was driveable for only 10 days and had to be towed away on the 30th December whereafter it remained unable to be repaired after stopping. We replaced the fuel pump from VW, had a mechanic look at it and charge his fee, an autoelectrician try and fix it and paid his fee and now a VW qualified mechanic and paid his fee totalling over R20k over and above what we paid for the vehicle. Do not use any of these people as they are sharks, crooks and rip offs.
