Superlot.co.za- scammers!!!

Do not buy from Superlot.co.za. They are scam artists and WILL steal your money! We found a laptop we needed on their site. As we are usually cautious buyers we first did a review search on Superlot.co.za. No reviews came up. We decided to query the laptop with them. After a few emails back and forth between us , they confirmed they had the laptop and provided us with an invoice. As the laptop was needed urgently, we immediately proceeded to pay as per the invoice, provided them with the POP and asked when delivery would take place. They confirmed that the delivery would be within 3 - 5 days but that a tracking number would be sent to us. After not receiving the tracking number we emailed and queries again. They advised it would be delivered by the Friday. Friday came and went and still no delivery. On Saturday, we attempted to email again- it bounced back. We attempted calling - the number no longer worked. We googled where the address was and saw that it was a random address for a random laptop shop. We immediately knew something was not right and decided once again to do a review search. Surprise. Reviews had appeared. All similar to our issue and all within the week that we had just purchased the laptop! New scam artists on the scene? We called our bank and theirs (Nedbank) to query whether the transfer of the money could be placed on hold, and if indeed already transferred, if Nedbank could put a hold on the account so that they could not use the account. Please be aware of them. I caution you to always do your research on online sites before purchasing. Its easy for them to have closed the superlot.co.za site down now and restart as something else. Scamming people may be a lot of work in my book but it definitely is easy money for criminals.
