Three years ago I purchased 10 solar panels from this company and recently decided to extend the system and so placed my order for 4 more panels with the same company, expecting to get the good service and quality of product as I had received the first time. But have been bitterly disappointed in their service now – phone calls never returned, emails unanswered, their website failing in the final stages of purchase, which needed more phone calls to get the total amount to pass the EFT transfer. And after payment there was no acknowledgement, nor advice as to when to expect the delivery. More phone calls to SIWSA as to the delay and when to expect delivery, and was only then given the name of Triton courier service. I phoned Triton to enquire about when to expect delivery, and was told my package would be delivered the next day. After the panels arrived they were placed onto the back of my truck unopened. They were extremely well packed and strapped tightly together and no damage to the parcel was observed. Later my son, my wife and myself opened the parcel and while lifting each panel off, I observed that the second and the last panel had scratches across the cells. Upon lodging a complaint by phone, at first a member of the company stated that it must have been damaged in transit. And then I was later informed by email that the management had decided that the two scratched panels must have occurred while they were being unpacked at my end and were caused by not lifting the panels, but by dragging them across each other, and therefore they are not in any way responsible for the scratches. . I did the unpacking myself and would certainly not have dragged each panel across the surface of the underneath one, as I was accused of doing by this company, I am deeply unsatisfied with this treatment and take exception to their declaration that I was responsible for damaging the panels. I would appreciate it if they would replace the damaged panels or refund my money for all 4 panels and I will purchase new panels elsewhere.
I rate their service very poor, their supply of ordered and prepaid items unreliable, and their follow up customer relations equally bad. Do not order or pay for anything online from this company, as you'd be lucky to get the correct item delivered to you, and don't expect to get a refund if they had sent the wrong thing. Several requests after the item had been returned, got no response and was ignored. And two months later, still waiting for the refund!
I wish to complain about the quality of RENEW Hygiene Soap About four months ago, whilst stocking up for lockdown I purchased a batch of Renew Hygiene toilet soap from the local Somerset West branch of Checkers. The first cake of soap that was opened and used was fine, but there was something very wrong with the second cake It was full of hard black gritty sand-like black lumps. I have no idea what the black substance is, but am very sure that these solid black grains are not supposed to be in a cake of Hygiene Soap, especially as the packet professes to be “Dermatologically Tested, and protects against 99.9% of Germs” In mid July I sent an email to the Checkers branch mentioned, and attached the photograph of the soap in question, suggesting that they investigate the quality control of this product, but as yet have received no response. It was specially packed for Shoprite/Checkers produced in South Africa - Supplier No 145486 Ref 20158132966
Great service from Takealot online dealers and their courier service Fed Ex. My item was ordered on Black Friday evening and it was delivered by 10.15 on Tuesday 3rd Dec. Very fast and efficient,, specially in view of the busy Black Friday weekend..
Had a very poor experience with a parcel from Vodacom, and in spite of five submitted {and acknowledged with reference numbers} entries on the RAM website with DETAILED instructions on how to find the address, plus giving correct contact numbers, phone calls to their help center which were never returned, two weeks later have still not received my parcel. Their excuse - couldn't find the address.and didn't know how to contact me. PATHETIC SERVICE, with absolutely no communication between the different internal departments to attend to and pass on information from customer input.
