After unethical business received from Nedbank, my wife and I found ourselves in a terrible financial pickle. We discovered Evericious Magaya at Credix Debt Management after a whole year of battling ourselves. While this debt management service is all still in process and I can't comment on how it will pan out, I must admit - Evericious has been most helpful. He contacts me regularly, checks our finances, contacts my personal banker, etc etc etc. He has been patient and for once, after a whole year of trying to make ends meet - he has given us hope. Evericious - you are truly amazing. Thank you Sir... If there were more people like you in the service delivery systems in South Africa, we'd be the greatest country on Earth.
Last year, my wife and I bought our first home. We (and our 3 kids) were very excited, yet very cautious. As first time home owners - we were clueless and sort the help of Nedbank Bellville, The Bridge Centre, 304 Durban Road. We were assigned to Madelaine Ackerman and we were assured that we were in 'good hands'. Madelaine opened up a few accounts for us (private banking, American Express, etc) and -in retrospect, she was much more interested in her commission than actual help. I don't work in finance, and I must admit, I do not know everything there is to know about how it works. Madelaine assured me she'd take care of me - and we were so happy about this promise. She complied a credit report and gave me several unfilled documents to sign - stating she would complete them. We realised afterward that the homeloan excluded fees for the Transfer costs and Madelaine suggested a personal loan. Again, she did the credit and affordability assessment (signed incomplete docs) and when I objected, she stated that within 3 months of acquiring the homeloan, we are able to take out an extension which would cover the 5 year R72000 personal loan at 20% interest. She said for 3 months, we must just tighten our belts and we'd be sorted. The personal loan was not initially approved due to us failing the affordability assessment, but my private bank made a few calls and the next day, it was approved. Halfway through the 3-month period, I contacted her - it was much more financial strain than we could bare. She suggested an overdraft on my account, again mentioning that the 3 month period is nearly over. She contacted internal departments and I was approved of a R13000 overdraft service. After the 3 month period, I received an email stating Madelaine is no longer with the department and works elsewhere. Theresa Cooper was assigned as my new personal banker. We were informed by Theresa that there was no 3 month extension or any offering of the sort. Theresa ended up being very very unhelpful - with no solution in sight. We were on our own - deep in debt and we were told to figure it out ourselves. I've sent emails explaining our situation and we've called them for several times: almost a year later - and after borrowing money to feed our kids, and pay bills - complete silence. We receive no communication from Nedbank other than Sales offerings and ads. We are now applying for debt consolidation - hoping that there'd at least be a R2000 for food at the end of this month. Nedbank drastically cut my overdraft today without my knowledge when they heard of what I was doing - again, I need to sell things to make ends meet. I went to the shop to buy milk and bread only to have my card declined at the tillpoint! This has been such a terrible terrible ordeal. The Nedbank slogan states that "there is no right way to do the wrong thing" ...but it appears to us, that Mike Brown has no idea of the damage his branches are capable of doing.
<div> I paid for a service offered by TaxTim and received no service at all. I managed find help elsewhere. Within the CPA Act, I requested a refund and they've completely ignored me. </div>
I've been meaning to write this for a while. Don't get caught up in the RSA SpiderWeb - seriously. VOX offers the best ISP service, with additional services - at the best price. I had great customer service interactions with them - especially from Zandile Gqada, Boitumelo Mogagabe and Megan Alberts. Thanks for the epic work guys - please don't drop this standard. If only the rest of SA businesses can strive to this calibre!
I bought the package indicated to me via the Taxtim website and followed all the prompts. There were delays on their servers and I left it for a few days. The days went by and I received no feedback. I contacted them on facebook and was assured I would receive feedback. I ended up doing taxes on my own. I requested to be reimbursed as I paid for a service that wasn't provided. I no longer need TaxTim - I did the work on my own. I am being ignored re my request for reimbur*****t. Steer clear from this service - SKELMS!
Thieves! I paid for an item and returned it. Makro said they will repay me - 12 days later and Still nothing! I called in and they promised to call back. After 1 ring, they hung up the call. One Ring!?!?! Then they (Anika van der Berg) sends an email stating they need proof of **** - that I Already provided!!!! They've processed a payment before - and now they make me jump through hurdles to get back my own money??? SKELMS!! I call in several times and the call centre drops the calls!
A few weeks ago, I complained about Truworths *****ing up my credit rating - when the problem was on their side. Thanks to Lockdown Level 5 - all their facilities were closed. I contacted them on Facebook, email (I received a reply 1 month later), etc - and provided proof of it when they contacted me. I WANTED TO PAY MY ACCOUNT- A MERE R100! ***! They realised their fault and promised to remove the negative credit rating with immediate effect... Today, it STILL shows on my profile. Such incompetence. Such Pathetically POOR Service! In an industry where products sold are more or less the same - it is Service which sets companies apart. With the negative impact of COVID on industries as well as The Worst service possible by Truworths - I can't see how this company can sustain itself. I will advise every single person I see to refrain from shopping there. I will also post everything received - including calls I've recorded with their promises made onto Social Media. Your lies, false advertising, misleading calls and empty promises - your company should be called Zumaworths.
I am SO frustrated. I've been building my credit score for months so I can buy a house. Before lockdown, I opened a Truworths account to help increase my score. Lockdown 5 happened and I couldn't pay my account because their stores were all closed. I called in, contacted them on Facebook, emailed and even created a Twitter account just to ask them what I should do- but no reply. I have money! Geez! I told you I want to pay you! It was a measly R110!!! FFS Pocket change! These Truworths people went and put me on a negative rating on my credit profile! For missing 1 day???? I've repeatedly contacted them to take it off - but no reply. DO NOT, I repeat - DO NOT open an account with this company. I actually hope companies like this shut down. Terrible.
My facebook friends are very boring. My facebook page was once filled with lekker skinner stories, but everybody keeps posting the daftest religious propaganda and motivational **** and adverti*****ts and duckfaces and pictures of ****et. Well ****et.
