Ink Station Parklands.’ I bought a printer Canon TS704a and I was told it does all the basic functions of the printer which is printing, copy and scanning and that was great then I further enquirer more on printing of stickers and which they beautiful explained and I came back on the following day to buy the printer. At home I tested the printer and it worked well in printing but when I check the scanning function it was not working, I read the manual and searched YouTube with not luck for instructions then I called the store and I was told to write everything down and I did. Their reply was “I told you that the printer does not scan before you bought it” I was shocked and I went in person I told her no you said it does the basic functioning I.e scan, copy, print. She denied everything and I told her, I know what I came to buy in the store which was the printer that scans and that print stickers and there’s no way that I would miss to ask that question. Because that’s what I need for my small business. After that it became a huge argument, I was told that the owner will not give me my money, and the only thing they can do is to give me a down grade of the printer which was very expensive when you compared to other retail stores. I told them I do not want that I just want my money. Because they did not take me serious, how can you give me a down grade of what I paid for? And tell me thats the best you can do for me and boast by paying me the remainder. My choice was taken away, you selling me a down grade which is expensive in your shop and very cheap in other stores and you still look in my face and tell me you doing me a favour? Really. They undermined me, I was not allowed to speak with the owner of the store but he kept giving answers on the issue secretly, imagine and every time when I go there I will be told his not there or I just missed him. When I asked to speak with him over the phone I was told that his a busy man that runs real businesses and I asked them so my business is not a business to them because I am not well established. After that they ignore me in front of their costumers and told me their boss is not giving me my money so I should leave the store with that printer. I left the printer in their store and my money is with them. Later she called me asking for my bank details and even now I am still waiting for the refund and I have not received anything from them not even the proof of payment which she told me that she will send and that does not take 5 days to send. The people there are very nice when you come to the store and buy something from them. But the moment you have an issue with their products they treat you like a disease. I hated my self for setting my foot in their shop.
Schemed by Old Mutual and Left me with a loss of huge amount of money. Old mutual representative gave wrong documents to sign not what we agreed on. He made me sign documents that were suppose to be investing and make my money grow instead the documents that he gave me to sign were eating my money. When I went to take my money from Old mutual I was told that they charging me a fee of up to R10 000.00 when I enquire about the fee charge I was told that what I signed for but explained to them what i was offered that it was suppose to grow the money not eat it. When they checked the Old mutual representative gave me a product that gave him a huge commission. Then i wrote to Old mutual arbiters then they ignored my issue. I am not working the money was meant to pay for my studies and now am stucked with huge school bill and I cannot even register to continue with my studies because I do not have money to pay for my outstanding fee. My dreams are vanishing because of greedy people who do not care about others from Old Mutual. I would edge people not to trust Old mutual and its representatives they will eat your little money and make you feel that it is your fault. They just like all other scheming companies they have lost they value of putting people first, its about them especial when they know you are no body, they can just shave you down and continue with scheming the poor people. Old Mutual is scheming and eating from the poor. Watch out. Nedbank is also to be blamed
Shock of my life the treatment I received from discovery car insurance. A discover car insurance client accidental hit my car and both cars were damaged. We followed the whole process as per the insurance request. Then someone from discovery called me about ask me questions about the accident. Then I WAITED over a month, then i called their client asking when they going to fix my car HE was shocked that HIS company did not fix my car because they were busy fixing his. Then i called them, then I was told to submit certain documents and i did. and i was told to wait that my case was assigned to Rozannah and that he/she will contact me and help me further. She /He called and requested things and i delivered what ever she/he needed. Then i waited to hear from her concerning the fixing of the car but there was nothing from discovery insurance. Then i sent an email requesting an update, it was when i was told by email that i need to sign a settlement amount form. The form indicates R6, 356.98 that Discovery in offering even though a quote to fix the damage on the car is R11, 277.66 including VAT and the insurance that did the quote was send by them. Now they telling me about about 70/30 which i do not understand and i felt that i am being blamed by them of the accident. i wrote them an email to request clarities and nothing or no one has communicated with me. it has been over 3 months from the time of the accident. Their client is sorted and my car is still messed up. and yet the call them best insurer.r
