Complaint regarding living quarters

Studio 28 is located in a beautiful small town in Clarens. Upon our arrival, my partner and I noticed the plumbing in the bathroom (specifically the toilet) was not working properly. It was constantly leaking water, to a point where we laid some towels on the floor in order to avoid walking into a bathroom that was flooded. This was highly disappointing as we expected to stay in fully functioning living quarters. In addition, we found the wall heater switched on but it was not generating any heat. We decided to check if there was a thermostat behind the heater, thinking that we would be able to adjust the heat. Thereafter, there was no thermostat behind the wall heater. The heater had been hung on two *****s which were not secured. Thus, leading to one of the *****s getting stuck in the wall because the drilled whole was too big. We left the living area in very good condition as well as the wall heater leaning against the wall. To our surprise, we were rudely contacted by Studio 28 informing us that we need to pay for the wall heater repairs. We agreed to pay for the handyman’s call out fee to reinstate the wall heater into the wall, but later Studio 28 wanted to charge us for a new heater which we did not damage. This matter was not handled in a professional manner. Anyone considering going to Studio 28, I would advise you to take a video upon entry to record the condition you found the living quarters in.
