Hi I had seen an add on Facebook from a company called MSS Auto Auctioneers. The advert was for a Bank Repo 2016 Polo Gti where the settlement amount was for the amount of R106,672.00. I had contacted the number on the add and an enquiry I spoke to the Sales person that goes by the name of Marlon Sani , he had advised that the car was still available. He also advise that if I was interested He would send me an offer to purchase and I should sign and he will send me an Invoice. The offer to purchase was signed and I had received the invoice ( As Attached). I Had then advised the sales person( Marlon) that I’m not comfortable to pay the full amounts all at once, he confirmed That I can pay 50% now and 50% when the car is delivered. I had then did an Eft payment to the amount of R55000 to an FNB account number on the 12th July 2019. Marlon had confirmed That the money was reflecting in their account and the car has been dispatched already from cape town to Durban and it should arrive on Monday. On Monday Marlon confirmed that the car has arrived In Durban and was being processed for road worthy test and registration, he had also advised that the Transport Company “ DENS Logistics” would be doing the delivery. I had contacted the company on 031 834 8882, I spoke to a guy buy the name of Philemon he confirmed the car had arrived Monday morning and they awaiting final registration at the licencing office and confirmed deliver for 17:30 that afternoon. Marlon then contacted me and advised that his boss can only give authorization for delivery if the other half has been paid, I did confirm our agreement that I will only pay when I see the car he advised that His boss won’t give authorization if there is no proof of payment. He had then sent me another email with a totally different number to the first deposit, when I queried why was it different he said that the first Account was a suspense account and they moved that fund to the second account so a credit note can be generated and be sent to me. I then made payment of the balance of R58 547.00 in an FNB account. The car has not arrived and there no contact or response on any of the previous numbers used to contact him. I ahve since opened a case of Fraud against the company. The company is still posting adds on Facebook of " Bank Repo Cars" and deleting all comments labeling them for the fraudsters they are.
