Helpfull staff but: Incredibly tight unreasonable red tape regarding overseas customers Had a Power of Attorney to help a family member overseas and still have no access to account Not everybody is a scammer Policies regarding complicated issues regarding longstanding customers should include the ability to within reason make decidions that fall out of the norm They cost me personally a packet of money as I got on the plane on good faith with solicitors both in my home country and in Scotland fully aware of the situation and in daily contact with the ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND customer whom I represented. Issue was around my proof of address of which I had plenty of proof. They suggested legal the route so that is all that is left
