I ordered a Pre-cooked Turkey at Christmas. I was ready at the exact time to pick up, in a roasting bag in a foil tray. Also separate gravy.I was given instructions as how to Re-heat and serve. The turkey was perfectly cooked and succulent and was ready in half an hour after re-heating. I would definitely do this again. It is time saving and effortless to do this.
I have had a postbox at Sandton City since 1984. The customer service has never been great, but September 2019 was the worst. I have received a parcel slip at the beginning of September. As I work long hours, I went to pick up the parcel on the 14th September. Only to find a small torn notice saying the office was closed on the 12th September. ( Absolutely NO WARNING previously). It said to collect parcels at Benmore. Visit 1 Benmore - 14th Sept. - No the parcels have not come yet. Visit 2 Benmore - 21st September - No the parcels are in a mess and not sorted. Visit 3 Benmore - 25th September - No we can't find it. Try again another day. Visit 4 Benmore - 5th October - No your parcel is not here. It has been sent back. Only on this visit did they ask for a phone number. Phone call ONLY 9th October to say parcel is there and I must pay R28. No apology. No nothing. Bearing in mind that I will have paid R25 in parking fees before even getting my parcel. I have emailed customer service. No reply as to outcome at all. To date no communication from SA Post Office as to the plan for the Sandton Post Boxes. This is ATROCIOUS customer service and still they expect us to pay for a postbox service which is virtually non-existent. So every time I have to fetch something from a slip, I must pay 2 lots of parking - one to empty my box at Sandton and to fetch at Benmore. It absurd and totally inconvenient to the customers. I would like a communication from SA Post Office to explain why this has happened and an apology
