Took my car in for scratch repairs Monday am Took an Uber to collect Wednesday pm On inspection found deep scratch damage on left front Representative first claimed car was dirty on entry and damage must have been there. Then examined video footage of the area taken on booking in. The rep then claimed the video footage showed the damage. When I inspected the footage, there was no damage. Clearly damaged in the workshop. They then agreed to repair by Friday. Two lessons: Dishonesty: and Double check your repair before paying
Don’t ever use UPS Parcel services! My daughter in the UK paid 46 pounds to have Xmas gift parcel express delivered to Joburg. Arrived at UPS Kempton Park on 19 Dec. Despite constant badgering, it emerges they have taken 5 days to refer the package to customs for release because it has hand cream in it. They after 3 days of calls revert they will refer it to the port authority “ today”.( 24 December). Note- not “ sorry, we slipped up” , , not “ urgently” - but “today”. No concern, no customer awareness, no cognisance of the premium of around R 1000 paid to ensure timely delivery. Who runs this show? What kind of culture is instilled? There are many other good courier companies. Never use UPS!
Unbelievably poor service Don’t answer phones or emails so impossible to get hold of System off much of the time and don’t react to fix when you actually go into their office in Simbithi Don’t go near them!!!
