We booked the Calypso Beach accommodation through the Marriott Bonvoy app. The booking process raised concerns due to a substantial damages deposit requirement of R5000 and an extensive list of rules with associated fines starting at R2000. Upon arrival, we found the accommodation to be substandard, with outdated appliances, poor-quality furnishings, and inadequate climate control. Basic amenities were lacking or in poor condition. The situation worsened when we experienced a power outage on the second day of our stay. While the hostess was sympathetic to our concerns, the overall experience was deeply disappointing. We are currently awaiting a refund, which is expected to take 7-15 working days. Based on this experience, we will not be using this booking agency for future accommodations.

I placed an online order on the 19/12/2019 for a Nintendo Switch Grey Controller Console from an email promotion for the online platform only. A few days after Christmas I received a call from a Dion Wired staff member saying that they were now out of stock and couldn't process my order and would like to "offer me a refund." The absolute gall of this store and its staff to word their response in a way to make one believe that a refund is some sort of bargain of their beneficence is astounding. In addition it is now the 06/01/2020 and I've not received any feedback from them on my refund or any attempt to make reparations for the broken trust.
I ordered a pair of Ray-Ban Caravan Aviator sunglasses from OneDayOnly on the 4th of November 2019. I received the package on the 12th of November 2019 only to find that the package states the correct item and model of sunglasses but the actual sunglasses were a different model, viz. Ray-Ban Marshal. After several back and forth emails with their customer services, I realised that they and the supplier didn't understand the difference and decided it would be best if I requested they collect the item and refund me. I since receive an apologetic email but the agent can't look through the email trail for the collection address I provided 2 emails ago on the same thread. With the ability to buy from international stores like Amazon and receive an amazing service from across the globe, companies like OneDayOnly could benefit from learning how.
