Race Parts farce
I wanted to purchase a some parts from Race Parts in Capetown but was met with total inflexibility. Race Parts force you to spend a minimum amount of R434.00 to process an order even though the parts you need is below the value and even if the shipping cost of R120.00 (min), stays the same. there is no other way of contacting them besides an email address.

Extortion, frad and excessive overcharges
Registered business name is Loritype. Club staff and girls trick customers into "signing" unreadable till receipts as acknowledgement of debts, which are then charged at overwhelmingly overpriced prices. Girls would randomly arrive at your table, without invitation, to entice customers (as you would in a strip club), then someone would arrive with sheets of paper for you to "sign", which is supposed to be a "contract" of some kind and an acknowledgement of debt, that you owe them a vast sum of money for their uninvited attention. One such acknowledgement of debt was for R4000 for an hour for simply having an arduous conversation. We paid some R3000 for a bolle of Ponchos and another cheap bottle of shooters. My friend paid R3500 for 3 of us to play 1 hame of strip pool with the ladies. Not only are the "contracts" as they (Loritype staff), legally binding in their view, but also contain no terms and conditions. You are constantly being distracted by overly annoying diversion techniques, converstion and overpowering attention, to entice you to sign these "contracts", so that you lose focus on what you are signing. When you want to leave, you are presented with a massive bill, which is payable, despite any efgorts to contest its validity. Girls make false claims of debt (endebtedness) which you have to honour before being allowed to leave the establishment. Naturally the security staff are extremely assertive in ensuring your compliance. We were also fraudulently charged "later" on a credit card, for an amount of R2800 after the charge was initially declined. (the card required a pin number which, soit shouldn't have been able to be charged, after the fact). Beware of this place at all cost. We will be investigating criminal charges as well, for extortion and fraud. None of our group are married, so there is no reason to avoid publicity.
