The worst I have ever had to deal with. Very unprofessional and don't have a care in the world for you. They simply should not be in business or work with people's futures. I am going to take this matter further and get them reviewed one way or another.
I have joined Mweb on 28 November 2022. It seems that joining is no problem. To call them on queries or follow ups, now that's where everything changes. After days of calling, and being in the call queue for 1 hour and 47 minutes, as I get through to be helped, I run out of airtime. Loaded more airtime and called back the next day, the same issue as before. After I threatened to cancel and take my business elsewhere, they managed to give me an installation date. The guys pitched on time, but spend two days connecting the fiber in my unit at the complex. They completely stuffed up everyone else's fiber and left here telling me that I need to contact my service provider to escalate a call for a cable team to restore connections. After I managed to do so, and a reference number was not provided to me, I end the call and hoped that it would be dealt with. Before the Openserve technicians left they told me that the cable decision is known for bad service and if I don't follow up with them, it will be a long wait before I'll have fiber. I received missed calls from Mweb so “I can call them back” two days later. I explained my frustration to the person that answered my call and if she could call me back. Instead she told me to hold for a moment, 15 minutes later she tells me that there is nothing she can do because a call was loged for escalation and that she will send them an e-mail instead. I was told the reason for the missed call was so I can call them back and to confirm if a date was set with me from the cable team. I was shocked and could not believe what I was hearing. I have to pay for endless calls, bad service, poor planing and the arrange my own problems to be solved with Mweb and Openserve so so that I can have Fibre. what is going on with Mweb? I now have to wait till Monday the 12th of December to only find out and if they will call me back to know whether a team can give me a date to sort out the mess Openserve left behind or just cancel and start over with a new service provider. I have been with Afrihost for the last 5 years and was told that Mweb is better than all the other service providers and I should give them a go and take them up on the special they have for fiber. I truly regret not staying with Afrihost. Price and service seems to go hand in hand - low prices & bad service or simply no service!
