DHL package on hold for a month
I usually do not go to this extend to do a review on a company but DHL has dropped the ball by keeping my parcel on hold n the UK because of a allegedly dangerous item shipped from the USA. Firstly they can't tell me what it is. Secondly it's been a month and they did not notify me, it was shipped 2 - 5 days express btw Thirdly they email me once a day for the last week telling me they are working on it. I have already paid the VAT for my countries customs in South Africa, its an expensive parcel with equipment inside that I need for clients. My history overall with DHL is broken boxes and broken parts inside because of rough handling now this. I hope to hear from them soon with a solution. I know shipping companies are logistically hard to manage but this is ridiculous

10 years of premiums paid, ZERO interest in my claim!
Standard Bank was happy tom take my premium for 10 years with no claim. When I reached out to them for assistance after a break in at my home that was unoccupied for a while waiting for new tenants to occupy the house. I gave them a call and the guy that answered the phone was very helpful and he arranged for an assessor to go to the house to meet the agent. The damage was not huge and urged them to get the security up and going again encase they came back to do more damage. I got an sms to tell me they are on the way. I never heard from them again. In the meanwhile I had a another break in and this time it was serious damage. My whole house was vandalized. After numerous emails over the last month I called them today to ask them what is happening. They said the claim was rejected because I had no armed response. The lady was short and uninterested, almost as if her job was to reject claims and look for loopholes not to approve your claim. I asked them why they did not let me know and why they left me in the dark. She said that they tried to call me twice and that I was apparently emailed. I asked here to email the correspondence of me being notified. She was also eager to tell me from now on there is no cover on the house. As soon as I got done talking to her the email came through rejecting the claim. I emailed 4 emails again asking for the correspondence. NOT ONE REPLY WITH THE PROOF. Since I have have been waiting for them I have so much damage to my house and they are leaving me to drown. I am not leaving this here, you are not being truthful.
