It was a great relaxing stay. The perfect place to unwind. I would like compliment Lucky on the great service he delivered, it was exceptional.
Fibre was never live, I cancelled the order prior to activation due to poor service and received proof of cancellation on the 7th of July. The new ISP cannot place an order on the line as Webafrica still has the pending order on the line. I have been struggling from the 7th of July to get Webafrica to release the line, after holding 30 minutes to an hour to speak to someone, everyone advised to give it 24 to 48 hours and the new ISP will be able to place an order, IT HAS BEEN 3 WEEKS ALREADY.
Can't complain about service because there isn't any. I have been trying to follow up regarding the installation of Fibre inside my unit, I was told to wait another week as the infrastructure provider was still within SLA, which is fine. Another week passed, when I called this morning someone finally answered the phone advising that one of their colleagues indicated on their system that the unit already has a fibre box inside. This is not the case and now I can't get ahold of anyone to rectify this.
What a struggle to get the contract cancelled. They require a calendar months notice, so I gave notice on the 2nd of March (the first business day of the month), this equals a calendar month, but not according to them. At the end of March I received an invoice for April, after going back and forth for about 3 days, as they did not see the whole of March as a calendar month, they finally agreed to cancel my contract. So they cancelled the contract on the first of April, but they never cancelled the debit order from their side, I have been asking for a refund since cancellation but all my emails are being ignored. How is it possible to pay for a service which I cancelled, I seriously don't understand how they expect me to pay for April if they are no longer the service providers.
