We booked a 5 day holiday a Stella Marais holiday apartments in Amanzimtoti Kwazulu Natal and i t was in the lock down period where beaches were only open on certain days and people were canceling their bookings left right and centre in all holiday apartments because beaches were to be closed over certain dates. I was phoned and told i could come in a day earlier as the flat was empty. Flat no 21. We spent 8 hours on the road and arrived at 15.00 got the key from security. What a shock we got on entering the apartment. The stove was grimey. I wouldnt cook on or in it or eat any out of it. There were 3 small cups and 3 small glasses and that was it. My husband went downstairs to a shop and bought 3 beer glasses. The bed was like an ironing board. I went down to reception the next day and told then this is not cutting it at R1600 a day. They sent housekeeping up and even they were appalled. They agreed to credit our glasses wich didnt happen. They had a cancelation and asked me if i wanted to have a look at number 87 which i did and took at once. Place was well equiped and clean. It was the ceo or something like that of Stella Marais who i have had a run in with before. His name is gert. So i get visitors with 3 small children who have the runs, and the one toilet breaks. I go down the next day and report it. The handy man phones me and up we go and he says ok he will be back now now. His now now was 3 days later a day before we left. My husband got sick and we feared covid. So we left a day sooner. I dont want a refund for that i want a refund for the two days we sat in that flat waiting for the handy man
I unfortunately landed under his knife and he removed my gall bladder on 25 Feb 2020 but in doing so he cut my gall duct tubes injuring me and we don't know what he was doing in that area in the first place. It's a no go zone in medical terms. I am going to make a long story short. A week later I had a gall leak into my abdoman which nearly killed me I went into septic shock. Dr Jeske took me 2 theatre and did a tummy wash and I was in ICU on a ventilator. No hope in induced coma.but I made it and a few times back to theater and back to Multi icu. Dr Jeske saved my life. Busy with court case now.
If you see him run, if you are referred to this phycision run like hell, rather go to Dr Moolman. Dr Kock thinks he is above a Psychiatrist and could turkeyd me from my Chronic psychiatric medication.i was in ICU and a total mess. When you want to talk to him about it he screams at you. This is one I am taking further. But run
Unitas was a disaster from day one. I spent 11 days there. My packed medication was stolen. They changed the visiting hours to 7.15 to 08.00 at night. My husband travelled from far. And he was not allowed to see me outside of those hours but other people were sitting with their visitors in the smoking area. Someone brought something in for me and he was allowed to visit with me. Double standards at their best. My husband and son were allowed in twice. I saw them once in ICU where I was connected to a ventilator. Second time he couldn't get me awake. So I knew nothing. After going to theater again I was put in multi ICU and my husband was not allowed to see me. I lay there for five days without my toiletries. My teeth were not brushed for 5 days and I was washed with very harsh chemicals. My husband spent R4500 on petrol in the hope of seeing me because he was worried as my lungs kept falling flat. He was denied visitation. They have now changed visiting hours to the gravely I'll and babies dept. Why was he denied as I was gravely I'll. Am taking this further.
