Bidvest is one of the banking partners in South Africa for Wise wire money service and seems to be in the habit of hanging on to other people's money for a considerable amount of time. I had a gift of cash sent to me from.my sister in Australia this week via Wise. The money was sent 9am yesterday morning and I have been informed it will only be released on FRIDAY May 3. That's FIVE DAYS. This happens every time that Bidvest is involved! They held up money at Christmas and New Year too. They obviously take advantage of public holidays to really ***** their customers.. Wire transfers in the rest of the world are immediate but not in South Africa. I sincerely hope that Wise ditches Bidvest as their banking partner here as Bidvest are probably sitting on a lot of people's money who regularly send to their family from overseas and making a fat amount of Interest. Making someone wait five days for a wire transfer is surely *******? I have been told 48 hours is the maximum. But Bidvest probably has very fancy lawyers and plausible stories galore. Its absolutely disgusting how they can sit on funds for five days? Surely there is a regulating body somewhere that can stop this appropriation of other people's money to fatten their own purse? There are people out there that absolutely depend on the wire transfers their families send, do they get acrewed over too?
When I was on the board of my sectional title development last year the trustees decided to contract AIV Property Specialists as the managing agent. I have been very happy with them and their performance. Recently I had a broken window after the complex was painted and the matter was handled extremely professionally and quickly. Our portfolio manager gets back to me immediately and my billing is always correct. It's a pleasure dealing with AIV. With the right set of trustees and a dedicated managing agent working in tandem with them a complex can only go from strength to strength.
Getting my driver's licence renewed was something to be dreaded and put off after hearing all the horror stories. But then a friend told me about the Waterfall licensing department. I was literally in and out to get my temporary in 20 minutes, the staff were so.polite, understanding and professional and it was literally a pleasure. Not only that but they were open on a Sunday when I went back to pick up the permanent licence . Wow! If only there were six stars instead of just five ...
What a delight to discover this little gem of a shop, right next door to the Fussy Vegan! Highly recommended by a very fussy vegan indeed, who went shopping after lunch, the store (named in homage of the Jim Carrey movie) offers obsessive cinephiles to casual browsers a spellbinding entry into the infinite and compelling world of cinema. Henni Erasmus who owns the store is a goldmine who offers up fascinating nuggets of movie trivia and is possessed of a unique talent of unearthing those obscure rare titles so hard to track down. I gave him an eclectic and daunting list of all the titles I had ever wanted and lo and behold he found them - and then some! Many magnificent collections come his way as people downscale or upload to the Cloud. But then Henni understands the joy of possessing a hard copy of a beloved movie and allows you to keep your rental copy for up to a week. Streaming can never offer the behind the scenes interviews or the box art. This shop is a gem on the Jozi landscape - it's our own Criterion Collection movie closet. Don't miss Henni's monthly movie fairs or just pop in for a browse. You will not be disappointed.
I normally love Tonys cake Boss but the other day they charged me R5 for an extra butter! I think if there is going to be an extra charge for something your waitron should inform you beforehand. It was added to.my pensioners breakfast bill with no explanation. Being a good customer I was a little taken aback
Hi, last year was extremely challenging for all of us and we found ourselves struggling to pay our bills. I asked my home loan company Nedbank to help me with a home loan restructure and extend the bond over a longer period so the repayments would be lower. The lady from the home loan restructure department was called Cleone Sewper and she was "super" by name as well as by nature. The restructure was granted and processed with the utmost efficiency and professional by Cleone and her team. It was a wonderfully painless experience and helped with to restore my peace of mind. Thank you guys!
I used Frank 3 Phambili to repair and waterproof my upstairs patio at my complex. The patio had been waterproofed 13 years earlier but was showing signs of wear and tear and there was a small leakage into the downstairs unit. I received a very reasonable quote for the work, and an accurate assessment of what needed to be done. We have all had horror experiences with construction in the home, but this was the complete opposite. The noise was kept to an absolute minimum, the team from Frank 3 Phambili were just wonderful, they looked after my plants with such respect, did an excellent job and cleaned up everything afterwards. It was a completely stress free operation! Professional service like this needs to be passed on to everyone you know, as it doesn't come along very often. I just got on with my work and left it all in the hands of Genaldo, Cover and the team!! Thanks guys! Will definitely use your services again
I contacted Sandton Debt Counselling at the end of last year and was put in touch with Jo Stone. Jo gave me invaluable legal advice and advised me correctly on how to tackle my debt. I was so impressed and grateful and feel so much more empowered after following his advice. The service provided was unparalleled, professional and very helpful. Thank you so much to Jo and his team. I am now on the path to being debt free, even in such a tempestuous time as 2020.
