Bad experience with my bosch car battery. I began to have issues with my car battery. I contacted the Electrical Drives, Engineer - Supplier Quality (BiP/PUQ-1.5) from Robert bosch. I explained to him that the battery was just over 2 years old at the outset . I was asked to explain my testing methods which I did in detail. Knowing the age of the battery, He then advised me to take the battery for testing at the sales agent which I did. I immediately contacted him with the results of the test. He advised me to put in a query again which I did. After a week's worth of phone calls and emails I got a response stating that the battery was out of warranty and that there isn't anything that can be done. This should of been told to me at the beginning instead of making me run around wasting my time, effort and money . Considering I paid R1450 for this battery 2 and a half years ago, this battery should have lasted me much longer. it is shocking that a reputable brand such as Bosch has a product that only lasts until a few months out of the warranty period. Is this really " invented for life"
