Received 100 Allium seeds from Best Seed Online some months ago . I tried to germinate about 10 seeds at a time over a period of two months .................. We have spring in South Africa and there is adequate warmth . Not a single germination !! I complained to Best Seed . They promised 50% credit but actual credit was R 80 Bottom line the purchase cost me R 240 Plus I had to pay an additional R 32 at the post office to collect. So total cost R 272 Less R 80 credit Net loss R192 Poor show from Best Seed !! They should have given a full credit !! I am an avid gardener , so I have every confidence on using seeds. Do not buy any seeds from Best Seed Online !! I think seeds are radiated during transit and dead on arrival . Once bitten /twice shy I think these seeds are radiated
Dear Fellow online shoppers Do not buy anything online from Best Seed Online !!! In about March 2021 I ordered Allium Bulbs from Best Seed. About 4 months later I received a notification to collect a parcel at my local post office. The parcel indicated that the place of origin was Uzbekhistan I opened the small parcel and found two plastic unmarked packets inside The one contained small pepperlike kernels and the other a few small coloured plastic beeds[ not sure what they were meant for ..........Bottom line is that the black pepperkernel size objects had no identification and if in fact they were Allium seeds , there was no description. and no planting instructions I was expecting bulbs as this is what google info on the internet suggests about Allium . Receiving unidentified content was unexpected. The pepperkorn size objects have not germinated , so who knows what these actually are .And as a result I have Zero satisfaction for which I had paid. I sent three messages to Best Seed asking for clarification about three weeks ago. So Best Seed did not have the courtesy to respond and to clarify status. To conclude I am seriously unhappy about the lack of response and would warn anyone wishing to buy online from Best Seed to refrain from doing so as you do not know when you will receive your order [ 4 months delivery time ] and whether you will actually receive what you paid for !
Hi I ordered some braai spare parts on the 7 th May from Braaishop [ an internet site] I was told goods would leave on the next monday and I could trace progress on the internet. But I could not trace and despite numerous attempts to phone , nobody answered so I feared I had been scammed .........Braaishop has no physical address . In fact I lodged a case number at the police station.....but then goods did arrive by Postnet on the 29 th May . Had serious aggravation because of their lack of communication. Website looks professional but be warned ........communication is non existant ! I would certainly not order from them again!
